Antony again raises the exciting prospect of securing a Town Deal

Wednesday, 18 November, 2020

For too long we as a town have been forgotten, so in the House of Commons this week Antony, as he has done before, raised the exciting prospect of our Borough securing a Towns Deal.

For those that don't know this would provide a huge level of investment (up to £25 million), allowing us to bring together Burnley College, the Football Club, UCLan and many other businesses to create and deliver a vision for Burnley's future post Covid.

This is on top of the extra money the Government has put in to get Pioneer Place off the ground and will completely transform our area. Antony stood on a promise to level up and he's fighting day and night to make sure that is exactly what is delivered.
