I’ve always said that every resident of Burnley and Padiham should feel safe on the streets, and at home. And I've been working on just that.

My focus has been on two priorities:

⚪ Increasing the number of front line police officers in our borough
⚪ Toughening sentences to create a deterrent for those who cause misery in our neighbourhoods.

I’ll continue to work on these two priorities with the local policing team and our Police and Crime Commissioner Andrew Snowden - to make a safer Burnley and Padiham.
