Antony Higginbotham meets Health Secretary Matt Hancock

Yesterday Antony Higginbotham MP met with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Matt Hancock MP.

During the meeting Antony raised the improvements needed to NHS provision in Burnley and Padiham.

Commenting on the meeting Antony said:

Antony Higginbotham returned as MP for Burnley

Antony Higginbotham has been returned as the Member of Parliament for Burnley in this year's General Election.

The result is the first time in 109 years that a Conservative has won in Burnley, giving a clear message that the town wants change.

Antony set's out the choice in this election

The choice in this election is clear. It is a choice between me as your representative in Westminster, who will finally follow-through on the decision we took in 2016, or a vote for Labour - more indecision and inaction.

The campaign begins

I was delighted to launch our campaign today, in Burnley town centre, to finally deliver real change for Burnley and its surrounding areas.

More money for our thriving towns

Last month, true to his word, Boris Johnson provided additional funding to town halls up and down the country to rejuvenate our town centres. And I am delighted to see many North West towns in that list of areas to benefit, from Rochdale and Darwen to Nelson and Preston.
