Prior to the outbreak of Coronavirus, Antony was undertaking outreach surgeries across Burnley, Padiham, Hapton, Worsthorne and Cliviger on a regular basis. These surgeries took place in local supermarkets, churches, community halls and pubs and offered an opportunity to come and speak to Antony informally without an appointment.
In addition, one-to-one meetings were being held at Antony's constituency office on Hammerton Street in Burnley Town Centre. These dedicated sessions were run by appointment only, enabling resident's to discuss more complex personal cases which required Antony's intervention.
Due to Coronavirus, and the need for everyone to stay at home for all but essential travel, the difficult decision has been taken to suspend all face-to-face constituent meetings. This includes one-to-one meetings at the office and outreach surgeries.
Antony is, however, continuing to work on all constituent queries of which there is a significant volume currently coming in.
In addition, Antony is holding telephone meetings with constituents who would otherwise need a one-to-one meeting in person. To book one of these please use the Contact form or email firstname.lastname@example.org and include as much detail about your case as possible. If emailing, you can also attach any relevant documents to ensure the meeting is as productive as possible.
Facebook Live Q&A
During this period Antony wants to remain as accessible as possible. And so in addition to holding private, one-to-one telephone calls, Antony is also holding regular Facebook Live Q&A sessions. Details of the next of these are posted below.
These can be viewed live, or as recordings at a later date, by visiting Antony's Facebook page.
